Our Story

How Ratchada Came to Be

Ratchada was founded in Bangkok in 2008 by a small group of legal professionals who had each worked in larger corporate firms and noticed the same gap: inheritance matters, which touch families during some of their most personal moments, were often handled with the same brisk efficiency as commercial transactions.

The founders wanted to do things differently. They opened a practice that prioritised the people involved — not just the documents. From the beginning, Ratchada has offered time, clarity, and steady presence to every family that comes through the door.

Over the years the practice has developed a calm, methodical approach to estate overviews, will preparation, and full settlement matters. Clients describe their experience as feeling looked after rather than processed, which is precisely the kind of feedback the team works towards.

Today Ratchada serves families across Bangkok and the wider central region of Thailand. The practice remains modest in size by design, ensuring that each client receives personal attention from a qualified member of the team throughout their matter.

Our Mission

To support families navigating inheritance matters with honesty, care, and the kind of unhurried attention that allows people to make decisions they feel confident about.

Our Vision

A legal practice where families feel genuinely supported — not hurried, not overwhelmed, and never left in the dark about what is happening with their estate.

Our Values

  • Patience — we move at the family's pace
  • Clarity — plain language throughout

Inheritance Legal Support in Bangkok

Ratchada has worked alongside Bangkok families for more than fifteen years, developing a detailed understanding of Thai inheritance law, the Civil and Commercial Code provisions relating to estates, and the practical steps families face when a loved one passes away.

Our work covers everything from the initial review of an estate's composition through to the formal transfer of assets, the preparation of legally sound wills, and, where necessary, representation in court proceedings. We work with estates of varying sizes and complexity, from simple family arrangements to situations involving multiple properties or cross-border elements.

Families come to us at different stages. Some contact us while a relative is still alive and planning ahead. Others reach out after a bereavement, unsure where to begin. Both approaches are equally welcome, and we adapt our service to meet the family where they are.

Our team has particular experience in matters involving foreign nationals residing in Thailand, mixed Thai and international asset portfolios, and estates where no prior planning has been carried out. We approach each of these situations with the same steadiness and thoroughness that defines our practice.
